Joyce was a little girl with curly hair and bright eyes, Who loved to stay up late and gaze at the starry skies. But tonight was different, she felt oh so sleepy, As the clock struck twelve, all slow and creepy.
Her eyelids grew heavy, her yawns grew wide, When suddenly she heard a gentle sound from outside. It was the Midnight Breeze, whistling a tune so sweet, Swirling and twirling down her quiet street.
“Oh, hello there, Joyce,” the Breeze softly said, “I see you’re still awake and not in your bed.” Joyce rubbed her eyes and asked with a smile, “Mr. Breeze, why do you only come after a while?”
The Breeze chuckled and swayed the curtains with care, “I bring dreams and whispers through the night air. I carry lullabies from faraway lands, To help little ones sleep, like grains of sand.”
Joyce listened closely as the Breeze began to sing, A melody so soothing, it made her heart swing. “Close your eyes, dear Joyce, and I’ll show you a tale, Of magical creatures that ride on my trail.”
As Joyce’s eyes fluttered shut, the Breeze whispered low, “Picture a garden where dream flowers grow. Each blossom holds a story, waiting to bloom, Ready to dance in the light of the moon.”
The Breeze carried Joyce to this wondrous place, Where fireflies painted stars across space. Tulips told tales of brave knights so bold, While daisies sang ballads of pirates and gold.
Joyce giggled as she danced with a ladybug crew, Who taught her to waltz in the midnight dew. She rode on the back of a gentle night owl, Soaring over treetops with barely a howl.
The Breeze showed her clouds made of cotton candy fluff, And hills of pillows, so soft and tough. Rivers of warm milk flowed sweet and slow, Where chocolate chip cookie boats gently row.
As the night wore on and the tales grew quiet, Joyce felt her mind become calm and riot. The Breeze tucked her in with a blanket of dreams, Woven from moonbeams and sparkling streams.
“Remember, dear Joyce,” the Breeze softly sighed, “Whenever you can’t sleep, I’ll be by your side. Just listen for my whisper, my gentle song, And I’ll bring you sweet dreams all night long.”
Joyce smiled in her sleep, cozy and warm, Safe in her bed, away from any storm. The Midnight Breeze continued its nightly flight, Spreading peaceful slumber throughout the night.
So whenever you hear a whisper so light, Or feel a soft breeze on a quiet night, Remember the tale of Joyce and her friend, The Midnight Breeze, on which dreams depend.
Now close your eyes and drift away, To the land of dreams where night turns to day. Let the Soft Snooze of the Midnight Breeze, Carry you off to sleep with ease.
