The Sleepy Song of the Sea

Finn lived in a cozy lighthouse by the shore,
Where waves whispered secrets forevermore.
Each night, as the sun dipped into the sea,
He’d listen for melodies, wild and free.
One evening, as stars began to peep,
Finn heard a tune that made him leap.
It wasn’t the usual crash and roar,
But a gentle lullaby from the ocean floor.
“What’s this?” he wondered, eyes growing wide,
As he tiptoed down to the rolling tide.
There in the moonlight, much to his surprise,
Was a choir of sea creatures of every size!
A beluga whale conducted with grace,
Waving its flippers to set the pace.
Dolphins clicked rhythms with their snouts,
While crabs clicked claws to round it out.
Starfish strummed seaweed like guitar strings,
And jellyfish bobbed, their tentacles rings.
Sea turtles hummed deep and low,
As seahorses whistled soft and slow.
“Hello there, Finn!” called a friendly seal,
“Care to join our nighttime spiel?”
Finn nodded eagerly, his heart aglow,
And waded in where the water was low.
The seal taught Finn to sing along,
To the sweetest, sleepiest ocean song:
“Hush now, hush now, let worries fade,
Listen to the lullaby the sea has made.
Waves rock gently, to and fro,
While moonbeams dance on waters below.
Close your eyes and drift away,
To dream of adventures another day.”
As Finn sang softly with his new friends,
He felt his eyelids start to descend.
The beluga noticed and gave a wink,
“Time for bed, young Finn, I think!”
The seal helped Finn back to the shore,
Where he yawned and stretched and yawned some more.
“Come back tomorrow,” the creatures said,
As Finn sleepily nodded his head.
Up to his lighthouse Finn did creep,
The ocean’s lullaby lulling him to sleep.
He snuggled into his cozy bed,
Sea melodies swirling in his head.
From that night on, as the sun would set,
Finn would join his musical pet.
Together they’d sing the sleepy song of the sea,
A beautiful, soothing symphony.
And if you listen on a quiet night,
When the moon is full and the stars are bright,
You might just hear, carried on the breeze,
The sleepy song sung by Finn and the seas.
So close your eyes and dream away,
Of ocean friends and musical play.
For tomorrow brings another chance,
To join the sea in its sleepy dance.
